Lancaster Self Tanning Melting Delight

I have been back in the UK for exactly 2 weeks now, and have managed to maintain a strong tanning regime. I have fooled most into thinking that my bronzed glow is natural, so I definitely can’t afford to have any tanning disasters!
I packed the Cocoa Brown Tanning Moose and St Tropez Daily Tanning Moisturiser in my suitcase, but whilst browsing the endless beauty boutiques in Tenerife, I stumbled across the Lancaster Self Tanning Melting Delight Sublime Intense Glow. Keen to intensify my tanning regime, I popped the 03. Intense ‘Trip to Copacabana’ formula into my basket.

This is a fast-drying (face) and body cream contains a self-tanning agent with melanin to mimic a natural colour. It is enriched with coconut water extract to keep the skin hydrated and allow for smooth, easy application. Lancaster promise an even, flawless, no-fuss and streak free application – everything that you look for in a fake tan!

As much as I love using the Cocoa Brown Tanning Moose in the UK, I do find it a little drying in the summer, so would definitely recommend packing a cream or lotion to keep the skin soft and hydrated. The Lancaster Melting Delight is a rich tinted cream which can be easily worked into the skin using upward strokes. I chose the 03. Intense colour as I wanted ultra-dark coverage and this did not disappoint. It creates a gorgeous bronzed colour (no orange tone) once developed, and has a relatively discreet scent that isn’t overly ‘biscuity’. I applied this each night after showering (teamed with light exfoliation) and was left with a natural-looking glow.

A small amount really does go a long way, so I have plenty of product left to use now I have returned home. The colour is extremely long lasting, yet isn’t an absolute nightmare to completely remove after approximately 10 days wear. Priced at £26.00 from Debenhams, it definitely fits into the medium to high-end price bracket, but it is such a lovely luxurious product to use that it is definitely worth it, and I am keen to more products in the Lancaster range.

Do you have any Lancaster product recommendations?
