Facial cleansing, for most, is seen as a chore and the quicker your daily face can be removed, the better. Personally, it is one of my favourite steps in my skincare routine; I always remove the majority of my make up with either a cotton pad teamed with a generous soak of micellar water or a gentle face wipe catered for sensitive skin. Wipes are seen as a crime by most Beauty enthusiasts, but I find they remove most of your make up without the need for a second cleanse using an expensive oil or balm.
I have already mentioned before that my skin type is normal with the odd hormonal blemish, so most oil or balm formulas don’t case any complaints. Although a little messy, I love nothing more than giving myself a lengthy facial massage with a rich oil; it removes waterproof make up and leaves my skin cleansed, soft and hydrated. Simply dispense a small amount into the palm of your hand and massage into dry skin in circular motions. This Boots Time Delay Cleansing Oil is gentle enough to be used on the eyelids and lashes when rinsed thoroughly with warm water.
At £5.99 this is a budget-friendly, yet effective, cleansing oil that dissolves all traces of makeup, including waterproof mascara. Luxury feeling oils such as Grapeseed, Rosehip, Jojoba & Olive leave the skin feeling clean and moisturised, with no greasy after-feel.
